Product Notes

Notes from the artist:

  • You can find new icons for loading this product in the following Poser Libraries:
    • Figures: “4be_WinterFlower”
    • Pose: “4be_WinterFlowerMATs”
  • Product Notes:
    • DAZ Studio Users:
      • You will no longer need to go to a separate DAZ Studio folder to apply the DAZ Studio Material Presets. Simply apply the MAT Pose from the Poser Pose→ 4be_WinterFlowerMATs directory.
      • There is no longer a separate DAZ Studio installer for the DAZ Studio Presets.
    • Poser Users:
      • It is recommended that you do not delete the .DSA files from within the product's MAT Pose directory. They will not show up as extra files within Poser, but are required to use the product with DAZ Studio 3.0.
    • General Notes:
      • .DSA Mats can be read in DAZ Studio 3 Only so please keep this in mind if you are using an earlier version.
      • You can always pick up the Pro Version of DAZ Studio 3 or you can take the Light Version for a spin!
    • Usage Tips or Limitations:
      • Numerous adjustment and loosening morphs can help with pokethrough in most poses and figure shapes.
      • Some dialed characters use negative values in their setup, which might cause pokethrough even in crosstalking clothes. For such cases the adjustment and loosening morphs and hiding poses are provided.
      • While most of the DAZ morphs will crosstalk without problem once loaded to Victoria4, the included custom shapes will require manual dialing in the BODY of the clothing figures. It is a normal process.
      • You can adjust the skirt to the poses better by choosing and moving the lSkirt, rSkirt, Skirt, lThigh and rThigh parts of the skirt from the dropdown menu.
      • By default lThigh and rThigh parts are following V4's thigh movement so you can start from there and fine tune the fit.
    • Tips and Tricks:
      • If you feel like you do not need the clothes to crosstalk (e.g. for fitting them to custom morphed characters) and you have some skills in poser file editing, you might want to change
        • Figure 1
        • BODY
        • to
        • Figure 1
        • BODY:1
      • in the cr2 files of the outfit and save the changed files into your library with proper extension, making sure you are NOT overwriting the original files.
      • Most shader-based MAT poses are very dependant on the light you provide in the scene. I render my promo images with 4blueyes IBL Brights, Anais, and Classic light sets in Poser7 and modified UberEnvironment Shader in DAZ Studio.
