FAQ and Trouble Shooting

What's SuperConforing? These clothing items are SuperConforming. The Full Body Morph dials in the body of the clothes continue to work even after the item is conformed. This gives you the ability to fine tune the relationship between the figure and clothing morphs if needed. You will also find JCM Override dials in the clothing figures. In some cases the automatically applied joint morphs may produce undesired results. These dials allow you to override these manually.

How do I load the Clothes? As with all clothing with conforming morphs it is important to select the target figure before loading the clothes. Remember to re-select the Target figure between loading each clothing item. You can double click or drag n' drop the items. In poser remember you will need to apply the “Magnetize” poses provided with Victoria 4. Apply these poses to each clothing item.

Does this work in Poser 2010? These item DO support the new Conform Scale option in Poser 2010 and it is enabled by default in the Shoes to match Scaling of the feet in the Girl 4 morph. They DO NOT support the Conform Morph option. These items are too complex for that feature to provide the results you expect. Do not enable the Conform Morph setting on this set of clothing it will cause morph doubling.

Where are the MAT-Poses? This product included completely separate installers for the DAZ Studio Materials. This is because the mix 'n match materials are shaders and can be applied to any material zone. This does not translate to a MAT-pose and to give Studio User the full range of material choices there needed to be totally separate materials.

Studio users will find the Bike Gurl materials located in their content folder under Nerd 3D in the Bike Gurl for Studio folder.

Poser users will notice there are no MAT-Pose files. Once again this is because the Mix n' match materials are universal and can be applied to any zone or combination of zones on the figure they are designed for. This is beyond what a MAT-Pose can do. The Materials are located in the Material library under Nerd 3D in the Bike Gurl 42 folder

How do the Zippers Work? Easy Zipper Control is a feature limited to Poser 7 and newer. It uses the Dependent Parameters introduced in Poser 7. Each Zipper has one dial to operate the zipper through it's full range of posing possibilities. At the time of release DAZ Studio does not support this function. A second set of controls are provided for Poser 6 and Studio. These have one dial for each “click” of the zipper. The Jacket has 6 clicks from full zipped to totally unzipped. The Skirt has 4 on each side and the cuffs only have one. Dial an one of these to set the zipper to that position. Dialing two clicks on the same zipper will have strange results.

The Skirt does not conform when I move the legs of the figure, Why is that? The skirt uses a technique called “Body Handles” for posing. This is the way the skirt is designed to work it does not conform below the waist. There are 5 posing handles (displayed as cones near the knees of your figure) These can be used to position the skirt with much more style and artistic freedom than could be achieved with a regular conforming skirt. Use the center “skirt” handle to get the skirt in the general position of the legs then sides to fine tune the pose. There are also several morphs to further aid in achieving the perfect pose on the skirt. The Front and Back handles are special and only designed to be used when the skirt is unzipped. They pose the front and back of the skirt independently.

You will also find a set of body handles on the collar of the jacket. This can help you get that perfect rebel look by tweaking the collar just the way you want it.

Both the handles in the Jacket and Skirt need to be hidden before rendering in Studio. A utility pose is included for that and one to turn them back on. Poser users don't need to hide the handles as they automatically render invisible.

Please only use the set designed for your program. Poser 7 and newer can use the "Easy Zippers" controls. Poser 6 and DAZ studio please use the controls marked as being for that program. Using both and once will cause strange results at best.
These Super Conforming figures have JCM and FBM override dials in the body of the conformed figures. Unlike conventional conforming clothes these continue to work even when the item is conformed. This allows you to adjust the FBM's in the clothes independent of the target figure. If you encounter a poke through a small adjustment of the morphs in the clothes will almost always fix it.
The "Hat Hair" magnet will tuck most hair props under the hat. You will probably need to add the magnet to the hair prop or figure using the following steps:

Poser Only:

1) Select the Hat Hair Magnet.
2) Open the properties palette.
3) Click add element to deform.
4) Choose the hair prop or figure.
5) Click OK.

Studio Only:

1) Select the hair Prop.
2) Open the D-Form tab.
3) Select "Add Nodes".
4) Choose the Hat Hair deformer being very careful NOT to include the many deforemers on Victoria 4.
5) Click "Accept"

The Hat Hair magnet will likely need some adjustment for the exact hair you are using.
