Thank you for purchasing Pirate Pak for Michael 3. —- In “LM_Pirate M3” of your Figures Library and “MAT M3 Pirate P4 / PP” of your Poses Library and “LM_Pirate M3” of your Props Library you will find new icons for loading the product.This product uses MAT Pose files for changing material settings. Please see http://www.daz3d.com/pages/faq/techtipsmain.html for more information on Your Poses library and MAT files.

Notes:

The MAT Files are saved as PZ2 Files in your Pose Library. These work in the same way as any other Mat Pose File. To use them, select the figure in your scene that you wish to apply the materials to and double click on the MAT file you wish to use.

These MAT Files do not require the prop to be parented, however a 'figure' must be present in the scene for them to work. They are also specific to the prop's internal name. This would be the default name assigned in the PP2 file. Any instance of a prop other than the first instance will be assigned a different name by Poser. For example, if the prop's name is Ball, the second instance of that prop will be named Ball_1….any Mat poses for 'Ball' will only work for the first instance.

The Figures and Props load without the bump maps applied. Except for the buckles. Poser 4 users will need to convert the bump maps to '.bum' prior to applying them. All the Figures and Props use the same texture for both the texture and bump map except for the buckles…where the buckles' bump maps' names are appended with a 'B'

Some of the morphs for the Baldric contain either a 'J' or an 'S' before the morph name. Those with the 'J' are used when the Baldric is worn over the Jacket and those with the 'S' are for when the Baldric is worn over the shirt.

The Sash and Baldric's morphs should be used in conjunction with their 'Jacket Fitting' morphs when worn with the Jacket.

The Muscular 1, 2, 3 and Stocky morphs are set to fit Michael 3's Full Body Morphs at a dial setting of 1. Other dial settings above or below 1 will not result in an exact match. Combinations of morphs will not exactly match the corresponding combination.

Some parts of the clothing are very fitted and may result in some pokethru's with some poses. Turn the visibility off for body parts that are covered to prevent pokethru's.

The textures (except for the buckle textures) come in grayscale. I have supplied 2 color schemes but you can easily change the colors to suit your taste or requirements by changing the object, highlight and ambient colors from within the material editor.
