Product Notes



HOW IT WORKS
In your figures library you'll find 2 default versions of the set. Everything is parented to the “Terrain” allowing for Future sets made of MAT Poses even on the various small plant props. The 4 walls themselves are half cylinders (each half cylinder contains 3 material zones). These 4 half cylinders have been put into 2 groups, “Scenery_Sky” & “Clouds_Weather”. These groups may be moved (Rotated) independently of each other. Also in your figures library is a “Backwall” prop, which will create a 360 degree setup & a “frontwalls” only figure. The ground itself has been given various morphs.

PROPS
In your props library are the various small plants used in the default figure, 3 trees (one of which contains morphs), the waterplane and a skydome. The “Skydome” is designed to fit above the default figures “Sky_Scenery” group.The Main advantage of this set is versatilty in animation or just still images. The way the backwalls are grouped allows for control of the Cloud & Weather walls seperately to the Scenery & Sky walls.

TEXTURING & TEMPLATES
There are no templates required, please refer to default textures for dimensions. * The Ground & Water planes are tiled 4x.

  • Trees are tiled 2x vertically.
  • Skydome is tiled 2x.
  • All Plants are trans mapped planes with the exception of 2 which are cone shaped.
  • Walls -each half cylinder is cut into 3 material groups. These have been stacked so either one texture can be tiled, or a texture can be used on each section of the wall, the default setup is a tiled texture.


MORPHS
* “Tree01MORPHING” contains 2 morphs: “Roots” and “Bend”
* Water contains 2 morphs: “Smooth Water” & “Wave”
* Terrain contains 5 morphs: “Shore island”, “Shore”, “Island”, “River” & “Ground”

LIGHTING
While shadow casting has been turned off for the walls, care should be taken in avoiding casting shadows from the trees to the walls.

UPDATE
The Millennium Environment has been updated to a taller mesh, and hence now has six panels per layer instead of three.
In addition, the following MATposes have been added in the DAZ Environment Pose folder:

  • Blank_Normal.pz2 - this sets the walls on the existing Millenium Environment to white
  • Blank_Tall.pz2 - This sets the walls on the new and taller Millenium Environment to white
  • CloudsWeather_Off.pz2 - this turns the Clouds and Weather planes to off - no point rendering geometry you don't need.
  • CloudsWeather_On.pz2 - this turns the Clouds and Weather planes to on
  • ScenerySky_Off.pz2 - this turns the Scenery and Sky planes to off - no point rendering geometry you don't need.
  • ScenerySky_On.pz2 - this turns the Scenery and Sky planes to on
