* Walls and doors:
There are many wall styles. Wall style 1 and 2 have open walls in narrow and wide versions. The narrow and wide versions can have a narrow or wide sliding door added to them, to add a door, insert the wall element, then without moving the wall, insert the matching (narrow or wide) door style, then parent the door figure to the wall. This way, when you move the walls, the doors will move with them.
* Wall endcaps:
If you have 2 intersecting wall ends that are at an angle, add one of the wall endcaps to the intersection point so you will have a smooth transition.
* Columns:
Add a column to your scene for interest. One of the columns has ambient lit screens, another has telescoping segments for higher ceilings. Scale the columns as needed.
* Floor and Ceilings:
You can place several floor sections next to each other for larger floors, same with ceilings. It may be necessary to scale up or down the floors or ceilings to suit your needs.
* Arches:
Arches are as wide as the corridor floor modules. You can also use them in rooms if you wish, just scale and rotate them to suit your needs.
* Keypads:
These can be placed anywhere, the buttons glow in the dark. Be sure to parent them to the wall they are attached to.
* Shaft modules:
Use these for creating a utility or ventilation shaft, place the modules end to end. The vented module has posable vents. The juction module has endcaps that can be turned on or off to block them off.
* Balcony / Railing:
If you place a ceiling and floor module next to each other, you can add a railing to the side to create a mezzanine effect. The railing sections are split into 3 parts (between the posts) and can be turned off to create a sort of gate barrier.
* Lamps:
These glow in the dark, place them on walls, floors, ceilings, anywhere that looks cool.
* Material pose files:
The DAZ 3D.com SFCS package is pre-loaded with a white texture scheme. You may find alternate texture schemes at .
* Tips:
All the elements have shadow casting turned off. This will allow light to pass through them without casting a shadow. In general, you should leave the shadow casting ability turned on for props and people, this will help an image look less flat.
By default, poser inserts 3 lights in a scene, turn off the shadow casting ability on 2 of the lights and leave the shadow casting ability on for 1 of them. Set the shadow map value to 1024 for the light with the shadows turned on. This will help make a render have crisper shadows.
Point a light up from the floor toward the ceiling and one from the ceiling toward the floor, then have the 3rd light pointing from behind the camera toward the central part of your render.
If you find strange shadows on the walls, you may want to turn the shadow casting ability off on the element that is casting the shadow.
