Product Information

  • You can find new icons for loading this product in the following Poser Libraries:
    • Props: “FTC-PalaceEnt”
    • Light: “FTC-PalaceEnt”
    • Camera: “FTC-PalaceEnt”

Product Notes

  • The naming convention used is as follows: L and R denote the left or right prop.
  • All doors can be opened, select the appropriate prop and then use the Door_Open dial to open/close the door.
  • Delete the default Poser lights before applying the light preset.
  • Optimal scene window size is 1000×800.
  • Because of the level of detail, it is easier to work with the scene in Smooth Shaded view, rather than Texture Shaded.
  • The !Preload_Base preset will load the entire scene, and all props are parented to the Arch prop.

Bryce Fairytale Collection - Palace Entrance Companion file

Load the Palace Entrance in Poser or D|S.

From Poser you can save that file as the standard poser pz3 and import to D|S.

In D|S you export the mesh as an obj file you can name it palace.obj

Open Bryce and load the Companion scene then import the palace.obj

now look to the right of your obj and locate a line of symbols.

Click on the “A”. This will open the “Attributes Window”

Type in the following numbers:

Origin: x = 0, y = 179.27, z = 0
Position: x = 0, y = 179.27, z = 0
Rotation: x = 0, y = 0, z = 0
Size: x = 419.10, y = 358.54, z = 548.10

Click on the check mark in the lower right corner of this window.

Your Fairytale Collection - Palace Entrance is ready to render!

Tip:

Using a linear greyscale image white at the top and black at the bottom applied in the ambient channel.

This will be the second dot as the texture will take the first dot and be on the diffuse channel.

You can adjust the amount of the glow by changing the amount of ambience in the ambience slider.

This effect will more closely simulate the properties of the translucency of the candle wax.
