Thank you for purchasing the 2Cute clothing pack for DAZ Aiko 3.0.
In this pack you will find 2 conforming tops, a conforming skirt, a conforming panty, a dynamic skirt and a dynamic dress with several Poser5+ shader MAT poses.
The conforming clothes have all the FBMs and numerous other morphs as well as the custom Aiko19 fit with necessary fitting morphs.
All files can be self extracted, just extract to your Poser folder and the Runtime will find it's way to your Poser directory and place everything in necessary library.
The clothing set (with the exception of the dynamic dress and skirt and to some degree Poser5+ shaders) will work perfectly in Poser4 and DAZ|Studio. The Heart Skirt has posing handles for aiding you in fitting it to the poses. Please use the visibility poses for the handles in DAZ|Studio for easier adjusting.
The dynamic skirt and dress will not work in Poser4 or DAZ|Studio.
Due to the nature of the dress the extreme poses are not recommended as the fabric will fold dramatically (just as in real life, you do not sit with your knees up or stand with your legs way apart in a dress like this because it might slide up or aside and be unpretty =^^= )
Sometimes Poser 6 makes items with transparency applied disappear in the preview. The clothing will render perfectly ok nevertheless. To make the clothing visible in the preview again you can do the following: select the offending item and go into the Material Room. Click on the “Remove detached nodes” wacro. You can leave the MatRoom now :)
Poser 5 or Poser 6: please turn on the raytracing setting and make sure there is at least one ray bounce set in order to get the reflective effect shown on the thumbnails.
D|S: although the shaders are marked P5, most will work fine with little or no adjustment if the 3Delight render engine is used.
The Aiko19 morph must be manually set on the clothing. This was done to prevent crosstalk if a different morph is injected in the same slot that Aiko19 would use.
Here is a short tutorial on how to use the skirt or the dress in Poser 5/6 cloth room:
If you do not like the way the clothing folds, play with the Dynamic Controls. I usually use Fold Resistance at 20 (instead of 5) to simulate thicker fabrics, like leather, and lower the Static Friction to about 0.1 so that the fabric slides easier against the model and creates less rough folds. You can also choose Cloth Self Collision in the Simulation settings to prevent the cloth from going into itself. In most cases it is not necessary.
If you decide to change something in the settings after the simulation was run once, don't forget to Clear Simulation, it will force Poser to accept the new settings.
For a closer fit of a dynamic clothing item on a figure you can:
You can easily change the pose and recalculate simulation if you go to the last frame and change the pose to something different. Always leave the first frame untouched and make sure the clothing does not intersect with the figure in it or in any other frame of the animation!
