  • You can find new icons for loading this product in the following Poser Libraries:

Product Notes

* This figure was created using geometry switching to allow conversion from Griffin to Hippogriff.
When loading the Hippogriff Tail first convert the griffin into a hippogriff (goto Body and set Hippogriff Dial to 1). Next select the MAT_InvisGfrnTail pose to hide the lion tail. Then load the tail and conform the tail to the hippogriff. Select the body portion of the Tail and set the Hippogriff dial to 1.

In order to allow for saving of ERC poses, all valueParm tags have been changed to targetGeom in the cr2. For this reason I recommend that if you are applying a pose to the figure, do so first, prior to adjusting any morphs. Also when using Griffin poses on the Hippogriff the toes of the griffin must be zeroed to prevent deforming the hooves.

Known Issues

  • In Poser 4 and ProPack:
    The rear paw ERC master dials for ClawsRetract, ToesSpread, and ToesBendAll, do not return after conducting the Geometry switch to Hippogriff beause the ERC master dials are located inside the Initial Geometry. When switching back to the griffin, you must reload the character after returning the hippogriff master dial to 0, inorder to use the ERC master dials in the paws. You can still pose the toes manually as this does not effect posability. * Note to P4 users:
    Poser 4 users will need to convert several bump maps from .jpg files to use the P4 files properly.
    These Bump Map files are:
    * :SIDCreatures:Griffin:EagleSkin_B.jpg
    * :SIDCreatures:Griffin:HoovesEgl_B.jpg
    * :SIDCreatures:Griffin:HpGrfTailEgl_M.jpg
    Please see Bump Map Conversion Help for more instructions on converting Bump Files.
    In all cases, “P4” will refer to Poser 4 and “PP” will refer to Pro Pak.
