Usage Tips or Limitations:

The package was tested only in the Poser (Version 5, 6 and 7) programs! These shaders will not work properly in DAZ Studio.

In order to properly use the raytraced shaders you must use firefly and make sure “raytracing” is checked in your render settings before rendering. Please note that raytracing can tax system resources and take quite a while to render properly. The Textured raytraced shaders will take longer than the smooth.

The mapped shaders can be used with the P4 Render engine.

Important Notes for Stripes:

Please note that the “White” striped materials will appear solid white until rendered. This is normal.

Raytraced reflections are high in system resource usage and may take a long time to render on some systems.

To change the width of the stripes adjust the value of the brick width on the brick node in the material room.

If you get jagged edges on your stripes adjust the softness on the brick node in the material room. Higher is softer edges, lower is harder edges.

Important Notes for PolkaDots:

Please note that the “White” pokadot materials will appear solid white until rendered. This is normal.

To change the size of the dots adjust the value of the tile width and tile height on the tile node in the material room.

The dots in the preview thumb may not look evenly spaced. Trust me, they are.

To overcome stretching problems with the mesh, offset the tile height and tile width until the dots render round.

When applying to body parts, please keep in mind that you may need to increase or decrease dot size accordingly. For instance the same size dots applied to forearm and hand will render at different sizes. The hand will render considerably smaller.
