Product Notes

  • This product contains a Bonus .PZ3 Completed Scene. This scene is for ease of loading the complete cave or to use to learn and study. The file is located in the “Bonus Files” folder.
  • This product was designed to render realistic cavern scenes with low overhead.
  • To Make the Grand Chamber brighter, try increasing 'GrandChamber07'in brightness and distance end.
  • Each Crystal in the Bonus pz3 has an associated point light. Be sure to change its color when you change the Crystal's material.
  • The Entire cave and all the stalac and rock props are made to take a seamless texture. This ensures that you get a high resolution texture in every render. With such a large organic mesh, some seams will be unavoidable. These places have been hidden as much as possible.
  • All the props are designed to render great with as few polygons as possible. This means you can use lots of them to decorate your cave system with minimal impact to rendering.
  • All camera setups were specially designed to look great at a variety of render sizes, but are ideal at 16:9. (i.e.1920×1080, 960×540, etc.)
  • The Bonus file was created from the same library that is included with the product. It is intended for you to use as is or learn from.
  • If rendering times are long, try hiding the parts of the cavern not visible. With the Bonus file, if you are only rendering in a certain area delete the props not visible and only apply the lights for the section you are in (i.e. GrandChamber) |
