In “DAZ Mil Dragon” of your Figures library and “DAZ's Mil Dragon, MAT Millennium Dragon P4, MAT Millennium Dragon PP” of your Pose Library you will find new icons for loading the product.

This product uses MAT Pose files for changing the Material Settings.In all cases, “P4” will refer to Poser 4 and “PP” will refer to Pro Pak. Poser 4 users may need to convert several bump maps from .jpg files to use the P4 files properly. These figures make use of a technology known as “ERC” (Enhanced Remote Control). As such, there are numerous things that go on behind the scenes… In the groups that contain user visible controls, these dials can be found at the top of the list. They accomplish various things ranging from cascaded movement of groups in a chain (tail, neck, tongue), to the folding of wings or wing parts. In other words, we've added a lot of dials intended to make this dragon easy to use as well as extremely versatile. We recommend taking the time to take all the dials for a spin to get familiar with what they do.

The dragon figure has a feature not commonly found in our figures, a jointed jaw. (For most figures a morph is usually sufficient for opening the mouth, however a rotational joint is much more accurate for a jaw that opens this wide.) The Millennium Dragon's jaw works much in the same way any other joint would. However, selecting it may be confusing at first; in order to select the jaw you need to select one of the horns/spikes that surround it.

For the purposes of compatibility with our Mimic lip-synching software, the jaw can also be controlled by a dial (OpenMouth) in the dragon's head group. Though the two (OpenMouth | Jaw: Open-Close) can be used together, we recommend against it. In order to be used normally with Mimic, you should first zero all adjustments made to the tongue and close the mouth. (To do this, make sure the “TongueDefault” dial in the head group is set to “1”, zero rotations on the jaw and any of the tongue groups, and set “MouthClose” in the head to “1”. This is the restored state… and the Dragon reads in by default, this way.)

Due to the way Poser handles the display of single-sided geometry, we felt we should also point out that when using the “Fin” morph in the body… while viewing the dragon's right side, the fin will not be visible (it will however, from the left). This is also true of the underside of the wing membrane. Rest assured though, it will still render.

One final note… In “tail13”, there are morphs to shape the tail tip geometry to accept certain tail adornments. When using the dragon and its respective morphs in conjunction with the included conforming tail figures, we advise you to inverse any value (opposite value, by the same amount) in “tail13” for the body spikes applied in “Body”.
