It has come to my attention that the Rock Star hair is having problems loading sometimes. I have no earthly idea why this is happening as I created it the same way I've created other hair sets on the mesh, and it shouldn't react any differently. That said, it doesn't know that, and is throwing out a memory error message (sometimes) when being loaded. This can actually cause you to lose progress in the scene itself.
If you are willing to do a couple of extra steps when loading the hair, I have found a way around it (again, no idea why this works but it does). I tested this a number of times, and the hair loaded up without error every time and from then on was fine.
So, here are the steps to get it to load without error.
When you are ready to load the hair, drag it out of the bottom browser onto the work SCENE instead of onto the word MODEL. Scene will be the top word in the Properties box on the right where it shows what all you have loaded.
Once it is there, click at the top to turn off visibility. I know you can't see it, but turn it off anyway.
Now, drag the RockStar hair onto the word Model like you normally would have in the first place, and turn back on the visibility.
It should now be showing and work just fine without error.
As I stated, I have no earthly idea what the problem is with the initial loading, but I am reporting it to DAZ to see if they can figure it out.
I'm sorry for the extra two steps, but they only take a couple of seconds and for peace of mind, I personally would use those two seconds.
