Optimize your Generation 4 figures for Iray renders thanks to Iray Converter For Generation 4.

A single script that will apply optimized Iray settings to all the surfaces of any Generation 4 figure for your Iray renders (Victoria 4, Michael 4, Girl 4, Aiko 4, Kids 4, Freak 4, etc, etc..).

For the perfectionists, additional scripts, behaving as smart material presets, will allow you to get even more customization of your renders! They include base colour options, scatter and translucency options and translucency strengths, as well as several gloss management scripts.

Gloss management is realized by step by step scripts, by increasing or decreasing gloss parameters proportionally to their current settings on the skin, lips and nails surfaces of the figure. Very easy to use!

Want to increase gloss? Double click “Increase Gloss” until the desired result is reached. You can adjust either the global glossiness, or only some individual gloss parameters such as gloss weight, reflectivity and roughness. More additional scripts are also dedicated to nails and lips gloss management only.

Iray Converter For Generation 4 has been conceived in order to achieve great Iray renders of any Generation 4 Figure very fast and very easily.

• Product Notes:
  • All the files included in this product behave as material presets, meaning that you have to select your figure and either double click the file you want to apply, or drag and drop the files you want to use on the figure.
  • The main conversion file, located in the main folder, will apply optimized Iray settings on all the surfaces of your figure. In rare cases, figures using special eyebrows with opacity maps will need to have eyebrow re-adjustment.
  • Once applied, figures will automatically be slightly more reddish than the original, this is due to the way translucency is currently handled in Iray. You can compensate this by changing the base color or translucency strength in the surface tab or by using the files of this products.
  • Figures provided with no specular maps should require no adjustment and be ready to render, except if you want to customize their base color, gloss and translucency using the additional scripts provided.
  • Figures provided with specular maps may require some gloss adjustment, since the main script has been optimized for an “average grey” of specular maps, and depending on the authors, the maps can be either very clear or very dark.
  • For very dark specular maps, a script is provided to remove the specular maps if the glossiness is still insufficient even when maxed. This script preserves the values you had chosen for mapped glossiness, and since you removed the map, you will probably have to reduce glossiness using the glossiness management scripts. For what I experimented, it should not often happen.
