Though related to the mighty dragon, hunting drakes are a smaller, more feral breed. Swift and powerful, they hunt either alone or in small packs. Their thick scales and scutes protect them from harm, while their razor sharp talons and powerful jaws can bring down even the hardiest of prey. It's no wonder, then, that they are often used as warhounds by the Nobility, and even Dark Lords find them ideal coursers to bring a foe to heel!
