Balneae is a Roman inspired, 360° courtyard and bath environment. It's looks and styling has been created to compliment the Plataea range of products. Featuring the usual modular design, the set can be broken down into pieces and features preloads to load only what you require. The parts can be mixed and matched to create several different designs, and elements such as ivy and braziers can be added to create diversity and focal points.

Notes:

• All versions (Poser, 3DL and Iray) feature a 2K Texture map counterpart. This is designed to be a little lighter on resources should you need it. There are 2K versions of both the parts themselves (.cr2, .duf) and materials - so individual items can be swapped out for lower resolution versions as needed. They 2K versions reside in /2K_Map folder of each respect type and also have a _2K suffix to the filename.
  • Poser Version
    • !!Pre_Main_Full =This loads the base set in full. You can then add in additional props such as plants, braziers and ivy as you wish.
    • !!Pre_Main_Half -As above, but this loads a vignette sized portion of the base set. Ideal for close up renders or for those with less system resources.

• 3Delight Version
  • The preloads are the same as the Poser version.
  • The 3DL version does feature it's own set of 7 light presets, 2 of those are day and night environments.
  • The 5 scene files as used in the creation of the promo imagery are in the Scenes/3DL/Promos folder.

• Iray Version
  • The Iray version features the same preloads as the 3DL version, and similar Iray specific versions of the promo imagery in the Scenes/Iray/Promos folder.
  • There are some material selection scripts included to easily select the lights - they are denoted by the ! file prefix.

• The _A suffix on the light files show which lights will load in 'lit'. In 3DL, that is the ambient set to 100%. In Iray, the bulb materials are set to emit light. Those files without the _A suffix will be essentially 'off'.
  • Doors all open - - Ivy sections can be rotated as needed, just remember to rotate in 20/40 degree increments.

• Promos were rendered double the resolution and resized in Photoshop.
