Anodized features a custom shader and preset pack built from the ground up for Iray. The brand new shader adds features for customizable color arrays to 3 layers of specularity, allowing gradient effects from normal to grazing edge. Along with the new shader is 100 presets that make use of it in various ways, providing a variety of material options for everything from car paint to metal and ceramics.

• Presets marked as “Ghost” can sometimes cause brighter areas than expected where two surfaces with the shader reflect each other, if the effect is undesirable you can lower Max Trace Depth to prevent reflections from bouncing too many times.
