General morph types Almost every piece in this set loads with a multitude of morphs and control dials (sleeves and skirts only) designed to help you with fitting and posing the outfit pieces. The morph categories are as follows: - Adjustments: Alter shape and fit of a piece - Movement: wind, twirl, lift and general movement morphs. - Styles: contains dynamic drape morphs (sleeves and skirts only) plus adjustment and helper morphs related to those dynamic morphs. - Helpers: Preloaded joint acitvated morphs which simulate draping of sleeves and dress. These morphs can be completely dialed back if the shape of the garment does not suit your needs. - Controls: controls movement of several parts of a skirt / long sleeves.
Wearables presets Included are wearable presets for the full outfit so you can load the textured full set with one click to be outfitted to your Genesis Female figure. We have also included four custom crafted poses for Genesis with matching wearables presets. You will find them in the folder of the NightQueen under the Poses section. Each presets will provide you with premorphed and prepositioned sleeves and dress to give you an easy starting point for your own creations.
Corset We created a custom morph collection for your Genesis Female figure to create a corset body shape. It can be found in Genesis under Actors - People - Real World - NightQueen. For a quick application, you can also use the shape preset found under Genesis 3 Female - Clothing - Arki - NightQueen - Presets - Corset Shape G3F.
Dress and Sleeves The dress and long sleeves load with a number of control bones to aid you with posing. You can find them all under Actors - Controls. As mentioned above, both dress and sleeves were preloaded with helper and pose morphs, meant to realistically simulate the drape and flow of the garment. Specialized draping morphs will be activated in the sleeves when the arms are lowered or when shins are bent (dress).
Helper morphs and advice on pokethroughs Dress and sleeves are preloaded with style morphs which defom the lower part of the dress and the ends of the long sleeves when posing your Genesis figure. Thigh and shin movements or upper arm movements will influence how strong these helper morphs will be dialed up.
If you experience any pokethrough you can always dial these helper morphs down. They are located in their own dial section under Actor - Morphs. Also valuable to avoid pokethroughs is the use of the numerous style and adjustment morphs provided in both dress and long sleeves. We suggest that you acquaint yourself with the morph options of both pieces before using them on a posed figure.
The fur presets Included are fur presets for the free LAMH (Look At My Hair) Player. It is available in the DAZ 3D store: http://www.daz3d.com/look-at-my-hair-free-player. By clicking on the “Attach LAMH Preset” Button in the bottom left corner of the LAMH Player. Then navigate to the folder Genesis 3 Female - Clothing - Arki - NightQueen and select the appropriate Fur preset.
Please note that this fur preset will only be visible when rendering in 3Delight. If you want to use your generated fur in Iray, plase select the fur prop in your scene hierarchy, then go back to the LAMH Player and click on the “to OBJ” button at the bottom. After a while, DAZ Studio will convert your for to a solid .obj prop which then will accept our provided Iray fur shaders.
Make sure that the garment pieces you wish to add fur to are NOT parented to Genesis 3 Female. To do this, click on the piece in question in your hierarchy tree of your scene tab and drag it to the bottom of the list. It should now appear outside of the genesis 3 Female hierarchy, but still posed and morphed.
