|Product Name:||V-Wing Heavy Interceptor|
Introducing the new V-Wing Heavy Interceptor. This innovative starfighter design will enhance any fleet's interceptor squadrons. While the standard lighter configuration of this class of ship have proven effective in this role, the addition of the V-Wing to your fleet will give them a Heavier option, not much bigger than a standard interceptor, but much heavier in pure stopping power. A pair of wing mounted repeating laser cannons allow it to throw up a deadly wall of hot light tearing through most starfighters that your enemy might employ, but most importantly it should make short work of most bomber class ships, and even be effective enough to worry some lighter capital ships. The cannons will be complemented by 4 concussion missile tubes which mean this little starfighter should be able to punch way above it's weight. Though with room only for a small ordnance payload, and issues with cooling the cannons, it'll take a skilled pilot to make the most of this. The raw speed of a standard interceptor has been replaced with increased agility, allowing for tighter turning maneuvers which will keep those heavy cannons on target for longer. This ship also comes with an auxiliary pair of boost engines to give you that extra thrust you might need to chase down that speedy target, or get yourself out of a sticky situation.
This model features rigged moving components that can be controlled using Daz3d's Pose Controls, including opening canopy/hatch, working landing gear and associated hatches, spinning turbine blades in the engine intakes, and variable wing configurations for landing and flight modes, and last, but not least, a seated pilot Pose Preset configured for a Genesis 3 figure.
