Bring the Generation 8 Male Cyborg to life with light. 11 presets load lights parented to each major body part and 22 presets load full characters with light emitting surfaces. The colorful lights move with any pose and will encompass hair, clothing, accessories, props, and anything close to the figure.

Choose from a brilliant array of color combinations or go with pure white light. Customize by loading a character, adding lights, and then utilize nine shaders to go even further. Use color and light to express emotion.

The light presets, which load as wearables, will also work with Genesis 8 Male(s) and Genesis 8 Female(s).

Additional Details

  • Tips for Usage:
    • Load light presets with figure selected.
    • With surface tool selected, right click on a surface and choose “select all” with same Tag or Value to change multiple areas at one time.
    • To edit lights: select one light in the working viewport, then right click on the light in scene tab, and choose “select all lights”. From there you can change color, brightness, or delete point lights.
    • Edits to the lights are made in Parameters Tab. In “light geometry” you can change to sphere, disk, etc. and the “render emitter” in parameters tab will show/hide the light geometry. When changing light geometry, the lumens may need to be adjusted to retain same brightness.
    • As of DAZ Studio version 4.10, light geometry will show in cast shadows, volumetric props, and reflections regardless of whether the render emitter is on or off. This means that Light presets will not allow outside light sources to hit the body unless lights are deleted, moved, or the light geometry is changed to “point”.
    • Certain light presets will also negate alpha masks causing the geometry to glow white.
  • Since Lighting can have a dramatic effect on the color of renderd items included is an Iray Render setting to achieve the intended color look.
