Hula is a traditional dance form originating in Polynesia and Hawaii. It often dramatizes words or stories in the movements and gestures of the dancers that symbolize the natural world around us to create a complex and alluring visual performance.
This gorgeous set comprises a full Hula outfit and a comprehensive set of matching poses. The Hula Outfit has a choice of Bandeau or Coconut tops and features a grass skirt using dForce Hair for the strands, giving a highly dynamic and versatile skirt which looks great in any pose or animation while still being fast to simulate. The Lei Necklace is made from individually modelled flowers and features a range of styling and movement morphs. The set is completed with hair flowers (left and right and with adjustments to fit any hair), wristbands and anklets made from leaves and a bikini bottom that provides modesty under the grass skirt, but can also be paired with the Bandeau Top to make a stylish bikini. All of this comes in 8 color sets which can be mixed and matched for further versatility.
The pose set is based on study of authentic and traditional Hula steps, such as the Kaholo, Ami and Ka'o and various expressive arm poses. The set provides 20 full preset poses and a mix and match set of upper and lower body poses, hand poses and head poses for amazing versatility. Many of the poses can be used as part of a sequence or even as keyframes to set up your own Hula animation.
To complete the set, a pair of optional Hula Tufts are provided, again with a range of colors and styles, to emphasise the fluid hand movements and gestures that typifiy this unique dance form. Take your characters to a tropical paradise of long white beaches, ocean waves and swaying palm trees to the sound of rhythmic drums and music.
