Product Information

DForce has given us beautiful, lifelike material draping, but trying to simulate a specific look with a pose is a challenge. But not any more!

DForce Luxury Leisure poses make it easy to get a good posed look when used with the dForce Squishy Mattress set. This set of specialized 3D digital dForce poses give you 8 beautifully crafted poses and their mirrors in two variations of dForce presets - one with the Genesis 8 Female model on top of the bedding, and one with her underneath the covers.

The dForce Luxury Leisure pose presets can also be used as a starting point should you want to run your own simulations, as the Genesis 8 Female figure has been posed along the animation timeline to avoid any rigging collisions. Simply load your Genesis 8 Female model into your scene and apply the dForce Luxury Leisure pose preset of your choice, move the animation scrubber to the end of the timeline to view the full drape, add a character preset, an outfit, a hairstyle, background scenery and lighting. Don't forget to hide the dForce Helper Ground Plane! Run a new simulation if your character or outfit poke through the bedding to get a better drape.

Don't like what you see? You can change the dForce pose preset by first deleting the dForce Helper Ground Plane and the other props in the dForce Squishy Mattress set, - don't worry, they'll re-load when you apply a new dForce pose preset. Remember to remove the Genesis 8 Female figure from the current animation timeline, too (this does not remove her from the scene.) This prevents any conflicting data between the dForce pose presets. Explicit instructions are in the readme file.

As always, FeralFey poses are fact checked for gravity, balance, and realism.

Additional Details

  • Thanks for purchasing FF's dForce Luxury Leisure Squishy Mattress Poses!
  • The dForce Luxury Leisure pose presets are different to use than standard pose presets. To use: simply load Genesis 8 Female into your scene. Select one of the dForce Luxury Leisure presets from the dForce poses folder with the Genesis 8 Female figure selected. This will load the dForce Squishy Mattress props and the dForce Helper Ground Plane into the scene, parented to the Genesis 8 Female figure.
  • Using the animation timeline, move the scrubber to the end of the animation (if it is not there when the preset loads), this will reveal the full drape of the animation. You can now add character presets, clothing and hair models, background scenery and props, as well as lighting. I recommend hiding or deleting the dForce Helper Ground Plane before you render your scene, as it will be visible.
  • If your clothing or character preset pokes through the bedding, feel free to run a simulation, using the dForce Luxury Leisure poses as a starting point, as all the hard work of moving the bones of Genesis 8 Female have already been done for you to prevent any rigging collisions that might occur during the simulation. If you have problems with your new simulations, for whatever reason, you can always return to the initial dForce pose preset you started with - or you can switch to a different dForce pose preset.
  • To change out (or return to the initial dForce pose preset once an additional simulation was created) simply delete the dForce Helper Ground Plane (if you haven't already deleted it for rendering purposes) and the rest of the dForce Squishy Mattress props (the dForce Bedframe, the dForce Mattress, both dForce Pillows, the dForce duvet, and the dForce Sheet). These will be re-loaded when you apply the new dForce pose preset. But before you apply the next (or initial) dForce pose preset, it's recommended that you remove the Genesis 8 Female figure from the animation timeline. (In the animation tab, to the right are the three lines that indicate a drop down/drop up menu. Activate the drop up menu and the fourth option from the bottom is “Clear Animation”. Select this and another side menu appears. Select “Figure” while the Genesis 8 Female model is selected. This will remove the animation data from the dForce Pose preset you don't wish to use, making it a clean slate for the next dForce Pose preset you chose to use.
