• The Materials are with hierarchy. As long as the geoshell is parented to the base, just apply the mat to the base and it will update the geoshell at the same time.

• The Material shader does not preview. If you see white, nothing is wrong, it will show up in the render.

• For at a distance render, the base may be all that is required. You can delete the Geoshell if you loaded the complete version.
• For Portrait renders, you will likely want the GeoShell added. Either load the complete, or if you already have the base loaded, select it and apply the geoshell to the hair.
