Need a bit more fur in your furry companion? The Oso Dog Fur for Daz Dog 8 captures the look of short to medium-length, single-coat fur. Note that no textures are provided; the full fur presets require the product in question. The hyper-bright settings help ensure that normal texture maps will mesh with skin maps properly.

Not all installation packages provide files that are displayed to the user within the interface of an application. The packages listed below, do. The application(s), and the location(s) within each application, are shown below.

* Steps:

• Apply a dog texture to the figure. Check what UV is being used.
• Apply a preset to Adjust Gloss for the appropriate UV (so the skin underneath the fur is matte and blends in well)
• Add dog fur.
• Apply the correct Fur UV preset to the fur (to set proper hair scale and hair density maps)
• Select the Surfaces Coat, InnerEar, Nose.
• Place the coat image map into Root Transmission Color, Tip Transmission Color, Hair Root Color, and Hair Tip Color on those surfaces.
• Apply fur scale, density, and other presets as desired, and enjoy!

* Note that you will get errors if you lack the appropriate product. For example, there will be missing texture errors if you attempt to apply the Great Dane fur preset but do not have the Great Dane installed.
