Willa Hair for Genesis 9 is a morphing, polygonal model of a long double plaits hair. The hair is fitted for Genesis 9 with auto-conforming custom morphs for Daz Original characters.

The hair conforms to head and neck movements while the two long plaits and fringe sections have an articulate rig consisting of 32 custom bones. Easy Pose ERC dial/sliders help fit your figure poses beyond the 30 sample pose presets.

Iray and 3Delight diffuse color presets are included. You may modify the tints by changing the diffuse color of the hair.

  • Smooth base geometry, 222,304 (mainly) quads
  • UV mapped to efficiently cover full square map and minimize noticeable patterns or repeating.
  • Modelled non-symmetrical to increase realism.
  • Strands individually reshaped to avoid looking like identical repeated geometry.
  • Texture maps are based on original hair photographs and scans mixed with hand painted strands.
  • Shines from surface material settings are not painted on so it will follow your lighting direction, not “baked” or painted on.
