AprilYSH's contribution to the DAZ Published Artist December 2023 Freebies!

dForce Iden Beard is morphing dForce strands model of a short beard. There are 10 material presets and 10 length presets ready to use and/or modify to your taste. The dForce hair is grown directly on the Genesis 9 head (.DUF) and auto-follows most character head shapes.

Iray and 3Delight diffuse color presets are included. You can modify the tints by changing the diffuse color of the hair.

• To use the beard:
• 1. Load Genesis 9
• 2. Load beard and apply material and style presets
• 3. Apply a pose to the figure, and (if required) make sure the beard is not intersecting shoulders or other bodyparts by using the beard morph sliders.
• 4. [Optionally] click “Simulate” to drape dForce strands, though beard won't move much
• 5. [Optionally] and/or use beard morphs to enhance final shape

• Useage Tips:
  • You can easily modify hair colours by selecting your own diffuse colour settings for the hair.
  • After posing, use the morph dials to match you figure's pose and also ensure fitting.
  • You need at least one light in the scene that will provide the specular highlighting!
