Introducing FPE Button Eyes, a unique pack designed to add a touch of whimsy or a hint of creepiness to your Genesis 9 Characters by allowing them to sport buttons for eyes. Drawing inspiration from the 2009 Fantasy/Horror film “Caroline,” which is itself based on Neil Gaiman's novella of the same name, this pack caters to those who like to add a bit of sinister charm to their renders.
But the devil is in the details, so Button Eyes also includes a set of Geografts that seamlessly patch over the place where the eye should be, automatically copying the head surface of your character to the graft upon application.
To enhance the unsettling effect, bruising, and stitches conceal where the eyelash texture should be applied via a Geoshell. Six material presets will provide all you need to ensure the bruising seamlessly blends with the underlying skin. This versatility allows you to use the pack with or without the distinctive button eyes.
In addition to the button props, a stitch is provided as a smart prop. Both props feature neutral texture maps, granting you the freedom to customize their color using the surface pane, adding a personal touch to your creations.
To address potential challenges, a script is included, offering guidance on handling Button distortion, which may occur with extreme shapes, and Eyeless Graft distortion, a concern when the character's eyelids are not zeroed. To help with this, additional pose presets are included to zero some of the posing dials that introduce these distortions.
Unleash your creativity and infuse your renders with a whimsical spark, a creepy vibe, or a full-blown horror treatment using FPE Button Eyes for Genesis 9. Whether your characters don buttons as a bold fashion statement or as part of a bizarre punishment is entirely up to you!
