The Activity Layout is simply a container for the various interface elements that make up an Activity. It is responsible for maintaining the position, size, state, visibility, etc. of any Toolbar, Dock Area, Viewport or Status Bar for any given activity.

Below is a list of interface elements that an Activity Layout can exist within:

• Main Window - The main window of the application.

• Toolbar - A container that provides quick access to various Actions, in button/icon form, that perform a wide range of tasks on the 3D scene, the items in it, the interface and/or to the application itself.
