Weight maps represent a range of intensity value between 0% and 100%. The default visual representation of a map&#039;s value is displayed in the viewport as a shaded gradient between blue 0% and red 100%. The total combined contribution of all bones to an individual vertex cannot exceed 100%. </p> <p> Methods which directly edit the map are covered in <em>Weight Map Direct Editing</em>.
