A <strong>Skeleton Property</strong> offers the ability to choose a <a href="/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/terms/node/skeleton/start" class="wikilink2" title="public:software:dazstudio:4:referenceguide:terms:node:skeleton:start" rel="nofollow">Skeleton</a> to perform an action on. The “Fit To” action is a Skeleton property as it provides a list of Skeletons to fit the scene selection to. This property is derived from the <a href="/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/terms/property/node_property/start" class="wikilink1" title="public:software:dazstudio:4:referenceguide:terms:property:node_property:start">Node Property</a>.

Skeleton properties typically display the <a href="/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/terms/property/start#property_anatomy" class="wikilink1" title="public:software:dazstudio:4:referenceguide:terms:property:start">Default Anatomy</a> features as well as features derived from the <a href="/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/terms/property/node_property/start" class="wikilink1" title="public:software:dazstudio:4:referenceguide:terms:property:node_property:start">Node Property</a>.

The <a href="/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/terms/property/start#header" class="wikilink1" title="public:software:dazstudio:4:referenceguide:terms:property:start">Header</a> displays the label of the property as well as icons that provide options for customizing how the property functions.

<h3 id="body">Body</h3>

The <a href="/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/terms/property/start#body" class="wikilink1" title="public:software:dazstudio:4:referenceguide:terms:property:start">Body</a> of a Skeleton property displays a widget button. When a selection is made, the name of the skeleton node selection is displayed within the widget button. By default, “None…” is displayed in the widget button to indicate no item has been selected.

Clicking the widget button causes a “Select an Item” dialog to appear. From the dialog, select a skeleton node, or choose “None” to specify that no node is selected. Click “Accept” to choose the selected skeleton node and to exit the dialog, or click “Cancel” to exit the dialog without selecting a skeleton node.
