Product Information

The “Ghost Bride” is a type of ghost in ancient Chinese folklore. It refers to an unmarried woman who died abnormally. She chose to stay in the mortal world because of her strong resentment and unfulfilled wishes. She would appear at certain times or places and follow a passer-by home. The ghost bride will help him fulfill his wish. But after some time, this person will die for various reasons and then go to the nether world with the ghost bride, and they will become husband and wife. The legendary ghost bride usually wears gorgeous bridal attire, embroidered with gold and silver threads with auspicious patterns such as phoenix, peacock, flowers, etc., symbolizing the happiness and joy of the wedding. But the ghost bride is unfortunate. In this context, the bridal attire that represents happiness and the ghost bride's unfortunate resentment are combined to form a strong contrast, which has a strange beauty and is particularly terrifying. The image of the ghost bride is both terrifying and pitiful. It is a combination of traditional culture and horror elements, with a strong mysterious color. These costumes are not only for visual display but also to express the resentment of unfulfilled wishes and attachment to the world of the living. It reflects the unique concepts of marriage and death in ancient Chinese society and also contains pity for unrealized wishes and awe of the unknown world. This is not only an exquisite piece of clothing, but also a cultural memory that has been passed down for thousands of years. “dForce MKTG Ghost Bride Outfit for Genesis 9, 8.1 and 8 Female” contains clothing parts such as “Veil, Shawl, Top, Skirt, Shoes, Dudou and Briefs”, each of which can be used independently. Among them, the “Veil” has bones and shape morphs that can be adjusted by the user. “Dudou” comes with a “Dudou Smooth” shape morph, which can be used when the Top is not worn. In addition, it is equipped with an “Oil Paper Umbrella” prop that can be opened and closed. The “Oil Paper Umbrella” props have included hand poses. This product contains three material presets, corresponding to the three themes of the Ghost Bride. Red represents “Ghost marriage”, Gold represents “Sacrifice”, and White represents “Burial”. Although it is said to be the costume used by the ghost bride, the red and gold material presets can also be used in normal Chinese weddings. The design pattern of the white material is designed to be a “Burial clothes” pattern, which is generally not used on normal wedding occasions. Each component of this garment can be simulated with dForce to adapt to different postures. It is also equipped with multiple simulation presets to meet users' applications in complex scenes. Due to the presence of multiple garment components, this product must be simulated to achieve optimal results. It is recommended that users use animation (Custom) or (Use Timeline play range) to simulate cloth calculation.
