Product Information

Nothing beats being on the water. Whether you're there to watch nature or get some exercise, it has a calming and grounding effect. Give your Genesis 9 characters a chance to enjoy themselves with the TAFF Punting on the River set.

TangoAlpha and FeralFey have teamed up to give you a self-contained set with everything you could need to create a riverside render. Included in the set is the riverbank (both sides) with an additional version with an extended shoreline; four river punts (three come with or without cushions in a variety of colors); a paddle and a set pole with left and right-hand wearables for Genesis 9; a wide variety of poses for Genesis 9 - both single stance and couples!

FF's Vignette Handle to help simplify moving your figures (in their boats) around in the scene; 23 utility “Go to Position” location poses to make it easy to set your scene in key areas around the environment; 20 camera presets arranged for maximum visual impact for your renders; and four FF's Camera Anchor presets (which render invisible) to help manage your cameras for simplicity and ease of use.

As always, TangoAlpha's environments are maximized for authenticity and FeralFey's poses are fact-checked for gravity, balance, and realism.

Additional Details

  • To use the FF's Vignette Handle, select said handle in the scene hierarchy. Parent the figure or figures you are working with to the handle. Select the figure and apply your pose. When you are ready to move your figure, select the handle and use it as this ensures the figure maintains its proper pose and look. Using the “Go to Position” poses included in this set in conjunction with the FF's Vignette Handle will make it easy to move the action to wherever you need in the environment. Note - when using the “Go to Position” poses in this situation, please select the handle first and then the pose.
  • To use the FF's Camera Anchor - select the camera anchor you wish to use. The thumbnail art shows you the different cameras that are associated with that camera anchor. Double click on the icon in your content or smart content folder. The camera anchor and its associated cameras will load into your scene without disrupting anything already in your scene/viewport. The cameras used with the camera anchors are a starting point for you to use in creating your own art. Please feel free to move the cameras and change the DOF to best fit your desired scene construction. Preset 01 has the Bird's Eye View from the four different directions. Preset 03 is centered mainly around the dock and the boat house. Presets 02 and 04 are mainly centered in the middle of the river. You can use the camera anchor in conjunction with the “Go to Position” poses should your scene require it. It's meant to help you start to explore different camera anchors and positions that you may not have initially considered in your artwork.
  • It should also be noted that whenever you are moving the Punts, that you select the root base before moving the boat. Selecting elsewhere on the prop will change the relationship between the boat and the cushions and making it look very odd when you render the scene. Obviously, this does not apply to Punt C as it does not include a cushion option. Some slight translation tweaks may be required, depending on the punt and whether or not it has cushions. Hopefully the labeling will be clear enough.
  • The poses in this set are designated by where they can be used in the punts. If a pose is labeled “any punt” that means you can use the pose with any of the punts, except for the center seat of Punt C. The poses labeled “Punt C” are especially designed to work with the center seat of that boat.
  • The HPPs are meant to be used with a punt wearable (and a hand prop, if necessary, but not mandatory for the prop.) Select your figure, apply the punt of your choice wearable, and then apply the hpp you want to use.
