Product Information

  • Required Products: None

This set provides a complete and incredibly detailed village scene for your fantasy or tribal renders. It comprises a number of buildings including a central meeting hall and village dwellings, all within a perimeter ditch protected with stakes and impenetrable bushes. The main entrance to the village is a grand affair with arches covered in the skin from the Red Dragon. The village is self-contained with a well, bread oven, water trough, stocks and many smaller objects to give a lived-in feel – there are even toilet cubicles! Replicators have been extensively used for details from the thatched roofs to the grass, stones and leaves on the ground. This large set provides a huge number of scene opportunities for your fantasy renders!

Product Notes

Installation Packages

Below is a list of the installation package types provided by this product. The name of each package contains a Package Qualifier, which is used as a key to indicate something about the contents of that package.

  • 1 Core

[ ] = Optional, depending on target application(s)

Not all installation packages provide files that are displayed to the user within the interface of an application. The packages listed below, do. The application(s), and the location(s) within each application, are shown below.

Additional Details

  • Due to the large scene and use of replicators, the scene can be somewhat unresponsive, particularly when panning the camera (rotations and zooms seem to be OK). It is recommended to switch to Bounding Box previews when editing the scene, then change to Flat or better preview to see your scene. Replicators and the distant hills have been switched not to preview in the Assemble room, but will still render as intended.
  • Similarly, if including figures, it is best to set them up separately, including clothing and posing them. When ready, delete any lights and cameras and save them as a Carrara scene, then load the Fantasy Village scene and Import your saved figures. Again it is best to switch to Bounding Box previews when positioning the characters in the scene.
