Infinite Dungeon Vertical is an add-on 3D tile-set to Infinite dungeon that adds several tiles to the set for creating multi-level dungeons. It adds several new features to Infinite Dungeon like stairs, shafts, open rooms without columns, large vertical tiles for making enormous rooms and a set of bars and jail doors for making jail cells. It also includes a gigantic premade dungeon, “Depths of Despair” That uses many of these new elements.
This set includes a total of 99 new 3D tiles to add to the Infinite dungeon, more than twice as many tiles as the original base set.
Construction Notes
Infinite Dungeon Vertical is a more advanced 3D tile-set than Infinite dungeon requiring more skill at putting the tiles together. Many of the tiles like the stair tiles are made specifically to work only with each other. Some tiles like the shaft tiles only work vertically but can be connected to other tiles via the shaft entrance tiles.
Probably the most unique tiles are the Bared Overlook and the Overlook Cap tiles. These tiles are used to complete the wooden supports on the upper openings in the big room. Without them the second story opening in the big room would have an incomplete open tile along the floor on the outside. Although they are not part of the Shaft tiles they should be used on the outside of the shaft entrances too.
