This beautiful bridge, based on the iconic Bridge of Sighs in Venice, was designed by Henry Hutchinson in 1831 for St John's College at Cambridge University. It's a covered bridge, and crosses the famous River Cam between St John's College's Third Court and new Court. It has become a famous tourist attraction.
