Additional Details

  • USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
    • XTech for DAZ3D's Genesis 2 Female(s) by Jeff Van Conant AKA ElorOnceDark Copyright June 11, 2013
    • Using XTech in DAZ Studio is pretty straightforward. As with all conforming clothing, make sure the Genesis 2 Female is selected in your scene before you load the clothing or props.
  • THE SCIMITAR:
    • There are a LOT of styling morphs for the gun! The only caveat is that there is some texture stretching when using some of the morphs at high value. (the “extend front frame” morph comes to mind) The stretching isn't as prominent if you use the darker mats.
    • The extend magazine morph shouldn't be combined with any of the eject shell morphs.
    • Hey just for a bit of trivia: If you've bought any of my previous sets, you'll notice that most of my guns are the product of “Kohl Weapons Systems”. Years ago I used to have a Cyberspace (ICE's version of Cyberpunk) character named Joshua Kohl who was an Arms Tech. He made some cool weapons and ammo. Yep, I'm a pen and paper RPG geek!
  • STYLE MORPHS:
    • In DAZ Studio the Properties preset you can save the material settings of the clothing along with any morphs that are dialed in. In a Poser material file, the morph data isn't saved. Some of the clothing materials, (like the Apocalypse Bolero with Fur, the shorts setting for the pants, the croptop setting for the suit, etc) utilize various style shaping morphs as well. In DAZ Studio when you apply the material, the morph will dial in as well. In Poser, you may have to dial in these morphs manually. :-( They are all labeled rather logically though, and are usually found in the Adjustment section of the morphs.
  • PARTIAL POSES:
    • I included the partial poses, because it's always tough to set up poses in which a character holds an item two-handed. Most of these poses only effect the arms and hands of Genesis 2 Female. (with the exception of the ones that have her looking through the scope) The best way to use these partial poses is to load whatever normal pose you would like, and then apply on of the partial poses. I've come up with some pretty cool variations this way!
    • Please keep in mind that all of the poses were created on the Base Genesis 2 Female shape and may need some adjustments when used with other body shapes and characters.
