Product Information

SPARTAN POSE SET

A set of Spartan styled Hierarchical Pose presets, that are anything but spartan. Containing Pose information for Genesis 2 male plus each item in Mec4D's Spartan outfit in each pose. Also included is a Hierarchical Material Preset to one click swap between the hair or helmet or both prop options which you can use with any pose. The great thing about Hierarchical presets is they also work on all of your Genesis 2 Male Figures the additional pose structure will just be ignored and the base pose applied to your figure.

Included in this pack: 20 Hierarchical Poses for Genesis 2 Male and Mec4D Spartan Outfit, 5 x Expression poses for Genesis 2 Male, 2 Hand Poses(Grip) for Genesis 2 Male, 1 x Hierarchical Equip Wearable Preset, 3 x Hierarchical Material Presets to swap between Hair and Helmet props or show both.

HIERARCHICAL POSE INFORMATION

If your wondering how a Hierarchical Pose Preset is different from a normal Pose preset? The main difference is a Pose preset contains pose instructions for a single figure or obj. A hierarchical Pose Preset contains pose information for a group of objects for in this case each pose preset has pose information for Genesis 2 Male and the entire Spartan outfit including the props. This translates to a more complete pose that includes prop positioning and clothing posing. Saving you time and creating a more complete pose.

USING THE HIERARCHICAL POSES

Equip your spartan by using the + Equip Hierarchical Wearable Preset included in the product folder in the Pose folder. If your Spartan (Genesis 2 Male) is already equipped you will need to parent all of the items to your figure you can do this by dragging and dropping them in the scene tab. The poses will work without parenting them but any item not parented will not receive any pose settings from the preset. That's all there is to it.

  • Items are not being posed by the hierarchical pose preset?
    • Check to make sure items are parented to the Genesis figure or delete all the items and reload the set using the included Hierarchical wearable preset included in the pack.
  • Props go crazy if I try to adjust the poses?
    • The way a Hierarchical pose preset works each item(Props and Clothing) must be parent to the Genesis 2 Male figure. To adjust the posing you may need to adjust the parent for the props affected. Sometimes a spear on the ground may be parented to a hand. If you want to leave the spear on the ground but changed the pose simply unparent the spear from Genesis 2 Males hand.
