Additional Details

  • PAINTINGS:
    • Paintings load in the center, facing the applicable direction for Vaulted Hall. You may need to rotate and reposition for use with other interiors. The frames come with glass covering. In the interest of render speed, the glass has no reflection. However, you could edit the surface to add reflection (and render time) if you need it for your render.
  • POSES:
    • The props will work fine in many interior spaces. You will need to pose them appropriately so that they are flush with the wall, table surface, or ceiling as appropriate. Poses have been provided so that you can easily pose the four paintings and the wall lamp with the Vaulted Hall product. Each painting pose is named for one of the four paintings. You can use all four poses for each respective painting and it will use a different part of the wall. If you use a pose for a different painting from which it was intended, you may need to tweak the pose so that it is right.
    • There are four poses for the wall lamp. Each pose corresponds with one of the four painting poses.
    • The urn pose raises the urn to the correct height for use with the End Table from ‘Maps of the Empire.’ If you use it with a different table or surface, you will need to raise or lower it to the correct distance from the ground.
  • LIGHTS:
    • The wall lamp does not come with its own light. This is because you may or may not want it and there are many factors involved when setting up lighting. If you wish to have a light assigned, you will need to create it in your application (Poser or DAZ Studio). You may wish to make the light a child object of the wall lamp, if possible.
  • MATS:
    • The props load with the correct default material. Material presets are provided as a courtesy in case you tweak the material setting and wish to reset it to the default. If you do not change the material setting, there’s no need to use them.
  • Customizing the Paintings:
    • Four paintings in the public domain have been chosen and framed for this product. You can change the texture assigned to the surface named ‘painting’ for any of the four framed paintings. The proportions of the texture (.jpg, .png, etc.) chosen will need to match that of the picture originally assigned to that frame. Otherwise, the picture will look skewed to the degree that it doesn’t match the proportion. If you swamp the proportions, you will need to rotate the painting by 90 degrees. The painting texture should fill up the whole picture. If there is any ‘dead’ space next to the texture mat, that will show up in the picture. Here are the proportions for reference:
