Product Information

  • Required Products: None

A dancer's outfit for Genesis 2 Female(s).

Five (and a half?) separate clothing figures: skirt, coat, hip scarf, shoes, and a shirt with two HD morph variations.

The UVs and material zones are arranged for fantastic results when using DAZ Studio shader presets or Poser .MT5's. The DAZ Studio Material Presets use UberSurface, the Poser Material Presets are custom made so you will get beautiful renders in both programs. The skirt, coat, and scarf all have handles for the legs and many movement and adjustment morphs for fine tuning.

BWC - Gypsy poses by Sedor include matching poses for the outfit for the fastest workflow. Matching textures are included for Gypsy Hair by Valea.

Additional Details

  • Easiest way to use:
    • Pose Genesis 2 Female
    • Load Skirt
    • Select Genesis 2 Female's Left thigh and Ctrl-C
      • Select skirt's Upper Left handle (under pelvis) and Ctrl-V
    • Select Genesis 2 Female's Left shin and Ctrl-C
      • Select skirt's Lower Left handle and Ctrl-V
    • Repeat with the right side
    • If desired adjust the skirt with the bones and/or adjustment morphs until it flows perfectly.
  • Load Coat
    • Copy left and right handle bends from the skirt to the coat
    • If you used any adjustment or style morphs select the root of the skirt, Ctrl-C, select root of the coat, Ctrl-V.. morphs are named the same between the two so that works.
    • Adjust as desired.
  • Load Scarf, repeat steps as with the coat, the scarf only has one real bone per leg so it's a bit faster. The tie ends have 2 bones each if you want to do fancy things with them.
  • The arm flap are a bit ornery, if you combine too many rotations together you can make the lining poke through, there is a morph to fix it in actor/adjustments. There is also a morph to fix the lining on the skirt part of the coat if you have trouble with it, but it's very uncommon.
  • You can rotate the shoulder bones on the coat if needed as well, in moderation.
  • General Tips:
    • If the shadows around the edges of your items are cutting off abruptly lower the shadow bias of your shadow casting lights. In DAZ Studio you will find the option in the Lights tab, in Poser it is in on the second page of the parameters tab when you have the light selected. Try 0.1 to start, lower as needed until the shadow behaves. Don't forget your AO light as well!
  • Poser Specific:
    • Morph and pose your Genesis 2 Female before loading the clothes to get the best fit.
