The Terrain Editor (TE) is the heart of the landscaper. High resolution terrains are a must for every scene with a mountainous landscape. Unfortunately, the TE works very slow from massive 1024 resolution terrains onwards.

This is where this program shines. Export a terrain and process it in this small tool within seconds and import the result back into Bryce. Exported terrain tiles can be assembled to one large terrain. Up to four terrains can be manipulated, processed and combined. The TE-Filters program accepts height maps as 16 bit greyscale TIFF files in the sizes 1024, 2048 and 4096 square. The steps taken to get to the result can be recorded to a text file.
