The DA Pro Light Portrait set has been created to help with getting that perfect portrait render. Whether for a tight Head render or a full body character these lights will fit your needs.

With a staggering 72 light presets that vary in the color of light and light temperature to provide plenty of variance at the click of a button. The actual light rig includes a Fill Light, a key light and three backing lights to give effective edge highlights and nice even fill lighting. Also included are Render presets to easily add HDR or adjust exposure for a brighter or darker render or even to add bloom with a single click. There is a male and female Camera preset that each load four cameras setup ready to render a Head and Shoulder Shot, 3/4 Shot, Half Shot or Full shot.

The HDR map included is a lighting base and not high resolution (1024×512) but it still renders nicely and is easily changed out to your own preferred higher res. HDR maps through the environment tab.

• To maintain the lighting setup you should rotate your figure rather than the camera. The camera can be moved but a 180 degree spin will result in the rig light being reversed with color backing lights to the front of your figure. If you really need to rotate the light rig it's suggested to simply create a null and parent the lights to the null and then rotate the null (and in turn the full light set) to fit your need.
• Using a null allows you to easily rotate or adjust the height of the rig though simple parenting all of the lights to a null and either raise the rig height via the Y Translate or rotate with the Y Rotate on the null or increase the scale of the null to broaden the focus.
• Camera presets may need small adjust to match figure height and pose.
• Pointing the eyes of your figure at your chosen camera makes that looking at the viewer look easy to achieve.
• Easily swap out the base HDR for something higher resolution or one you prefer, through the Render/Environment tab.
