Fantastic Plastic is a collection of Iray synthetic shader presets for Daz Studio.
Included are both opaque and translucent type synthetics: PVC, latex, rubber, hard plastic, clear plastics and soft PVC (gummy type plastic), giving you a great range of synthetic materials for a wide variety of uses.
They have been created using real world values for their surface settings to give realistic material properties. Apply them to any items you have in your content library such as clothing, furniture, floors or general props. For content with 3Delight surfaces you only need to apply the Iray base shader that comes with Daz Studio first - so these presets can be used on all your older content too.
Each synthetic type has it's own colour palette, with complimentary colour presets. But these can be easily changed for your own custom colours via the Surfaces tab if you wish. As well as a range of colours, a collection of designs have been included with 3 different ways of applying the design, extending the possibilities for how the synthetics look. The designs can be applied as a texture, a surface pattern or the two combined.
Also included are normal map strength and tiling presets for quick easy adjustments to suit your clothing or props, and a PDF user guide.
Below is a list of the installation package types provided by this product. The name of each package contains a Package Qualifier, which is used as a key to indicate something about the contents of that package.
[ ] = Optional, depending on target application(s)
Not all installation packages provide files that are displayed to the user within the interface of an application. The packages listed below, do. The application(s), and the location(s) within each application, are shown below.
For more information on applying these shaders please refer to the .PDF user Guide included with this product.
As with any shaders, the appearance can vary according to the lighting used. The promotional images were made using The Iray Renderer in Daz Studio.
The texture files supplied may only be used as part of these Daz Studio shaders, and may not be sold or given away separately as an artist's resource, part of texture collections, a new product, or in any other re-packaging.
