Additional Details

  • It is recommended that you use the HS !Preload All presets to load either the full Iray or 3delight scene, then once you get your camera set up, delete anything not scene in the render window. This will clear a lot of the textures from memory as well as reduce the geometry count, which will make your renders go faster and require less memory.
  • For the Towel Hanging, first select the chair you want to hang it on so that the towel will parent to the chair. For the Salon Chair, make sure you have the back of the chair selected to parent the towel correctly.
  • For the HS !Preload Hair Tools preset, select a Styling Station before using the preset. This will load the tools onto the Styling Station. They load with Iray materials, so you will have to apply the 3delight materials using the material presets for each item if you are doing a 3delight render.
  • For the HS !Preload Shelf (01-04), the bottles will load on the floor as a group. You will then move them to the shelf or surface you want to display them on. Each of the presets has the bottles arranged differently, so you get a nice variety. Once loaded, you can change the bottles as a group or individually using the material presets.
  • Different parts of the salon can be hidden to allow camera angles, though hiding a wall or ceiling may affect the lighting that is provided.
