Are you ready for STAR!?

She's the newest, hottest character from the insane talents of Lady Littlefox, the artist who brought you Cookie, Gumdrops, Koshini and all those darling Plushies. Taking a whole new direction in her toon madness, Littlefox has brought BISHIJO or BISHI style in a big way!

This newest character boasts the newest of new technology using weightmapping for smooth as silk flexible motion. Crafted not only for Daz Studio Users, but for Poser Users as well.

Beyond this technological feat of weightmapping madness, Littlefox has gone a step further into insanity. She has created FACIAL RIGGING for this character to allow the user the ability to nudge certain facial zones to shape expression more precisely than by morph alone.

And she was not to be stopped there!

Added to these marvels, the hands have internal jointing to allow for flexing to make the gestures smooth and effortless. Best of all, vendors who are looking at this take note. There are NO JCMS on this figure!

Additional Details

  • POSER:
    • The Poser version is specially setup for Poser ONLY. It is completely Poser Native. It does not require the DSON Importer for Poser, and clothing brough in via the DSON Importer may not function properly. This second version was necessary in order for the scaling of Poser to function correctly.
    • To convert clothing from the DSON version to poser native. Use the following steps.
      • Load your DSON version in Poser and save it.
      • Load Netherworks ToyBox's File Optimizer. Use it to clean out all DSON references.
      • Go to the 'Tools' folder included in Star's Poser Figures directories.
      • Load 'Star- Scale Rigging for Clothing'.
      • This will then ask you which clothing you are trying to load. Direct it to your cleaned clothing.
      • Now conform and the clothing should fit just fine and no longer require DSON.
      • Save so that you don't have to convert again.
    • Star is a weight mapped figure and WILL NOT work on any version below Poser 9/Poser 2012.
  • POSER SCALE:
    • Poser's Scale mapping is known to have a few bugs but the Size dials included in Star have been tested to work as close to flawless as possible. The Clothing is also set with scales and should follow Star's settings when conformed.
  • DAZ STUDIO:
    • The DS version is specially setup for DS ONLY. It is completely DS native and not intended to load into Poser. Do not attempt to load the DS version from the 'Runtime' folder. The Runtime folder is only important to DS as the location for Textures. All files found in the libraries of the Runtime folder are POSER ONLY FILES. They WILL NOT WORK on DS.
    • Star is a weightmapped figure and will not work on any version below 4.5.
  • ALL VERSIONS
  • STAR'S EYES:
    • Star is intended as an anime character. The way her eyes work is that they do not catch nor cast shadows. The eyewhite is the 'cup' set with a high ambient to prevent showing any shadows. This allows the eye to be viewed from any direction and appear solid without actually being solid. It may require a tiny bit of adjustment depending on your lighting choices to keep the eyes from appearing 'glow in the dark'. Simply chose a darker color for the eyewhites.
  • STAR'S LENSE MORPHS:
    • These morphs are very subtle, they are intended for 'correction' in cases where you have mixed together a morph that may cause the eye to collide with the lense or the lense may poke through the eyelid. This will allow you to move the lense out of the way. I have not run into a circumstance where I have needed these, but they are there, just incase.
  • STAR'S CORRECTION MORPHS:
    • There are two sets of user accessable 'correction' morphs.
      • Mouth-CornersTighten: this is for use in places where you've combined morphs like open mouth and smile and the sides of the mouth look a little too broad. This will tighten up and lift the mesh there slightly.
      • Eye-CloseFix: This tucks the eyelashes down on the outer corner if they've started floating up. This happened in the EyeClosed morph at around 50%. The correction is automated in the Eyeclosed morph now, however if you should run accross the trouble from any morph mixing, you can now add the correction to your mix as well.
  • STAR'S FACIAL JOINTS:
    • Star has a very new feature that is 'Facial Joints'.
    • You will now be able to click on the brows and both sides of the mouth, the lower and upper lip and the point of the chin(jaw), revealing internal joints and offering other ways to quickly alter expression. These are intended for nudges and quick effects, not bulk movement, so extreme combinations may produce unpredictable results.
  • STAR'S HANDS:
    • The individual joints interior to Star's hands are not truly intended for a great deal of motion. There are dials in the 'lHand' and 'rHand' that automation this motion to a large extent. If you hand edit the individual internal joints, please use care.
  • STAR'S LIMITS:
    • Star's joints do have limits in motion, however they have been defaulted to 'off' to allow some extreme poses. Please be aware, exceeding the joint limits may require some post work on your part. Please be EXTRA aware of this in the area of the head joints as exceeding the limits there can occure quickly with only a few degrees difference. I highly recommend working with Limits On until you get close and then fine tune with limits off.
  • STAR'S FACIAL MORPH LIMITS:
    • Star's Facial morphs have their limits set to include some negative, however most morphs are intended to be used as Negative and are only set with negatives to allow for some mixing. Please use your own best judgement when attempting negative morphs.
  • STAR'S BODY MATERIALS:
    • Star's body materials all include a faint 'Ambient' to give them softer shadows and a more game style render under normal circumstances. As such they may 'glow' faintly in environments that have not had similar effects applied to them. To mimic this style, simplely apply the texture of the scene elements to the ambient channel and set it to 15-25%.
  • STAR'S BASIC CLOTHING:
    • These Clothing pieces are provided without texture, so that you can flood fill them to whatever you desire. The 'Thong' is provided with a 'tightenfit' morph that will help fit it under skirts if necessary. Depending on how tight the skirt, you may need to use the scale on the Pelvis to fine tune this.
