Behind “Wet & Tears” stands the technique to bring real 3D onto your character's skin with a system of specially tuned transparency, specular, displacement and bump textures for liquid drops and tears for even the closest close up render.

• Product Notes:

• How to work with Jewels and Tears for V4, Gn & Genesis 2 Female for Daz Studio:
  • Select your character/figure (Victoria 4, Genesis or Genesis 2 Female) and apply the Geometry Shell from their “…/Materials/Jepe's Jewels + Tears” folder
  • Select the geometry shell in the scene and apply the Material Presets from the appropriate 3Delight or NVidia Iray folders.
  • I recommend making all geometry shell parts invisible that are not necessary, these are all inner body parts, mouth, tounge, jaw and eyes.
  • You can use 2 or more Geometry Shells on one figure, but make sure that the Mesh Offset is set differently in the Parameters Palette. Optimal Mesh Offset is 0.02 (cm) for characters without displaced skin, 0.05 0r 0.08 (cm) for displaced skin (displaced veins for instance), to avoid poke through when rendering. You can for example use a wet option and body jewels in addition on one character.

• UV Sets:
  • Please be aware that this Jewels and Tears Female uses the Victoria 4 UV mapping layout.
  • When you work with Genesis or Genesis 2 Female, make sure you have the additional products installed that provide the Victoria 4 UV Set.

  • Geometry Shells use the Victoria 4 UV Set, but they are UV independent, you can use skin with any UV (V5, V6) beneath the shell.
