Welcome to our Lagoon Resort.

The resort features a private helipad, offices with a view on the lagoon, a lobby area with bar and lounge. Jet skis and a private yacht are at your disposal for your entertainment.

Our underwater structure features a vast lounge with view on the coral reef.

The lounge comprises a bar area, a gaming area (pool, poker), a dining area and ample sitting to marvel at the sea life on the reef.

For extended stays, six private “pods” are at your disposal, with all the accommodations you'd expect from a high class hotel.

• Rendering in Iray:
  • -Load desired scene-subsets and/or props (Make sure to use those in Iray folders)
  • -In Presets/Materials/LagoonLiving/Iray, choose which lighting options you want on the resort (if any)
  • -You can also adjust lighting on the yacht and helicopter directly from the surfaces pane
  • -Create a new camera and adjust your render settings
  • -For underwater renders, I strongly recommend to increase the maximum render time to at least 10 hours (36000 s)
  • -You can use the same camera for surface or underwater scenes.
  • -You can adjust the clarity/murkiness of the water by increasing or reducing “Transmitted Measurement distance” and “Scattering Measurement Distance” of the Lagoon's “water” material in the surfaces pane.
• Rendering in 3Delight:
  • -Load desired scene-subsets and/or props (Make sure to use those in 3DLight folders)
  • -In Presets/Materials/LagoonLiving/3DeLight, choose which lighting options you want on the resort (if any)
  • -You can also adjust lighting on the yacht and helicopter directly from the surfaces pane
• For surface renders:
  • -Load the Lagoon 3Delight scene-subset
  • -Make “SurfaceAmbiantLight” visible
  • -Make “CausticPlane” invisible
  • -Make “UnderwaterAmbiantLight” invisible
  • -Use “SurfaceCamera” for your renders
• For underwater renders:
  • -Load the Lagoon 3DeLight scene-subset
  • -Make “SurfaceAmbiantLight” invisible
  • -Make “CausticPlane” visible for caustic effects
  • -Make “UnderwaterAmbiantLight” visible
  • -Use “UnderwaterCamera” for your renders.
  • -You can adjust water clarity/murkiness by adjusting the “visibility” slider in the fog setting of the “UnderwaterCamera”
