Additional Details

  • To use shader presets be sure that you have both the object and the surface selected in the scene. The simplest way to do that is to use the surface selection tool (looks like 3 little cards with an arrow) to select where you want the shader preset applied. Double click on the icon for the preset you want to use and it will apply to the surface.
  • Surfaces are always influenced by the lighting used to some extent and silk is somewhat more so than cotton. Silk responds best to at least some direct lighting in the scene rather than just HDRI.
