Additional Details

  • Look At My Hair Notes:
    • To get the LAMH Preset Hairs to show up you will need one of the following Plug-Ins for Daz Studio 4.9+:
    • To show the LAMH Tab/Pane go to “Window:Panes(Tabs)” and click on the “Look at My Hair” now you can drag your LAMH tab into your Daz Studio interface setup.
  • Please Note:
    • The .LMH file(s) can be moved to your preferred location as long as all of the LAMH Maps are moved with them!
    • When using the Look At My Hair system your render times may increase and for the first couple of minutes your render might look like it has stalled. This is not the case just let it run and the render will complete!
  • LAMH to OBJ Notes:
    • Converting the LAMH Preset to OBJ for Iray is as easy as selecting the Preset Group in the scene and hitting the “To OBJ” button on the LAMH Pane then clicking through the windows via the “OK” buttons.
    • When saving your scene after the LAMH Preset has been converted to an OBJ the converted Fur will NOT save out with the Scene so it won't load into the scene once you re-open it. (Make sure to save out your Fur Material before saving!!) You will need to either reconvert it or load the saved OBJ file(s) from your version of the following save location:
      • C:Users/Username/Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/lookatmyhairAM/geometry
