The HDRI Clean Skies Parks are calibrated for the default Iray Render Settings, most materials will react very well, only minor adjustments might be necessary for adjusting the “Base Color” and “Glossy color” to white (back to the May defaults) will be the best option in the majority of cases, this will give the exact color of the Texture in the Surfaces.

This product contains 12 HDRI´s at 16k x 8k pixels and a preview size at 1K X 0.5k. To light without sharp reflections or background one can use the preview size at 1K it loads faster also provides a better workflow and the light is very similar. One can load the HDRI´s from the Render Presets, or directly from the Textures folder in the Runtime Libraries, quick note, set the folder for “Large Icons” so you can see the thumbnails of the HDR and Mat. Ball.

The promotional images do not have any post work at all, they are all straight renders using the HDR´s. It does not include the Buddha, shown in the promotional images.

Additional Details

  • Tips:
    • the fastest way to test the light in one model to see how it reacts is to use the Preview 1K in the render presets. This way one can click on each HDRI preset and get a fell of each light.
    • Use the Preview Size to build the scene, only on final render the High Res. 16K should be loaded, because it slows down the workflow quite a bit.
