Additional Details

  • If you're using the shirt with the shorts make sure the Hide Bow dial is set to 100 on the shorts or use the preset in the Utilities folder. It is already set correctly if you load the Full Set with Shirt wearable preset. If you're using the shorts without the shirt obviously dial that back down to 0 or use the preset in Utilities. This is also set up correctly if you load the Full Set no Shirt wearable preset.
  • If your pose has the legs or torso bent a lot and he's not wearing the shirt use the Bow Tilt 45 or Bow Tilt 90 shape dials or the preset in Utilities to rotate the bow up so it doesn't get in the way of the shorts folding along the belly. Which of the two will look better depends entirely on the pose, you'll need to experiment.
  • The shirt has a shaping morph to add thickness to the trim and hem, it looks very nice but it MUST be left at 0 when you run the simulation, if it is dialed up previous to simulation all the goodness will just fall right out and you won't be able to get it back. There are also presets for this in the Utilities folder so you don't have to go searching for the dial.
  • Standard dForce disclaimers apply: make sure your figure's skin isn't intersecting itself. Pay close attention to armpits, hands, and between the thighs with this set, especially if your using a more muscular character shape. Most knee bends work fine, save for extreme kneeling poses where his shins intersect his behind. It works best with Collision Mesh Resolution set to Viewport in the Simulation Settings tab, it takes a little bit longer but the results are smoother.
  • The presets to add dirt only work in Iray, they will not show until rendered. For the most part Dirt 1 is more pronounced than Dirt 2. If you hover you mouse over the thumbnail so the larger one pops up you'll be able to see a lot more clearly how they're going to look.
  • The material presets do not contain any dForce settings so if you change them to suit your taste they won't be overwritten. If you want to go back to the default there are presets for that in, you guessed it, the Utilities folder.
  • If you delete the hat and glasses and don't delete the rigid follow nodes they are attached to and later load another hat the head will two “Hat Follow Node DO NOT MOVE!” rigid follow nodes parented to it and will cause the H-Mats to fail.
  • The “prop” hat/glasses also load parented to the head if the figure is selected (it had to be that way for the auto morphing to work), but if you load those instead of the 'worn“ versions the H-Mats also won't apply to them because they won't have the rigid follow nodes.
