Additional Details

  • For Daz Studio 4.11 Beta users:
    • Just a thing that could be helpful with working and rendering my Cinematic sets - the current Daz Studio 4.11 Publishing Built +BETA+ has a new feature that I can HIGHLY recommend using to save render time the “Post Denoiser”. It's located in the Render Settings TAB/Editor/Filtering. You have to activate it before starting to render, but you have to use it wisely to get rid of noise without losing too much detail.
    • For my Cinematic Scenes:
      • I usually render in 2000 x 2600 pixel resolution - in this size they need at least 2000 render iterations to develop enough detail. So I set the Max Samples in the Progressive Rendering Tab to 2100 iterations and let the Post Denoiser kick in after 2000 (Post Denoiser Start Iteration). This saves you a huge amount of time to let all the noise disappear that comes with translucency, reflection and refraction. But for portraits you have to be careful NOT to let the Post Denoiser start too early, it smooths the skin and you can loose detail.
